Terms of Use

1. Accepting these terms

By visiting poinstudio.com, creating an account or playing LandOfRobs, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use our services.

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, in particular the Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8.078/1990), the Brazilian Internet Bill of Rights (Law No. 12.965/2014) and the LGPD (Law No. 13.709/2018).

2. Who can use it

• To create an account you must be at least 18 years old, or authorised and assisted by a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure and for every action taken from your account.
• An account is personal and non-transferable: do not sell, lend or share access to it.

3. Game licence

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and play LandOfRobs for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

This licence transfers no ownership. All game and website content - code, art, characters (Robs), 3D models, soundtrack, trademarks and visual identity - belongs to PoinGames Studio or its licensors.

4. Prohibited conduct

While using our services you agree not to:

• use cheats, bots, exploits, reverse engineering or any software that changes how the game works;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers, databases or APIs;
• use the contact form, the newsletter or any other channel to send spam, chain letters, phishing or bulk messages to third parties;
• send illegal, violent, discriminatory or hateful content, sexual content involving minors, or anything that infringes third-party rights;
• overload our infrastructure with automated requests, scans or denial-of-service attacks;
• harvest other users' data through scraping or automated means;
• sell, buy or trade accounts, items or in-game currency outside official channels;
• impersonate a PoinGames team member or another player.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without prior notice when the violation may cause immediate harm to other players or to our systems.

5. Content you submit

You remain the owner of the content you submit (nickname, messages, images and material shared with the community). By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display and reproduce that content only as needed to operate and promote our services.

You confirm that you hold the rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Virtual items and purchases

LandOfRobs may offer optional in-app purchases. Virtual items and currency are licences limited to the game: they have no monetary value outside it, cannot be converted into cash and are not transferable.

Purchases made through app stores also follow that store's refund rules. Under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, you may cancel a purchase made outside a physical store within 7 calendar days of receiving it.

7. Beta version

LandOfRobs is in beta. Features may change, servers may be restarted and progress may be adjusted to balance the game. We announce any significant planned change in the community.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the site and the game available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend it for maintenance, updates or security reasons, and we will do our best to announce it in advance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Brazilian law, PoinGames Studio is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from use of the services, in particular when caused by misuse by the user, a failure in the user's internet connection, or force majeure.

Nothing in these terms removes the rights the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code grants you.

10. Third-party links and services

The site links to third-party services such as Discord, social networks and app stores. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or policies. Read their terms before using them.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by writing to support@poinstudio.com. We may terminate or suspend your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Once the account is closed, the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced on the site at least 15 days in advance. Continuing to use the services after they take effect means you accept the new version.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer's domicile are elected to settle any dispute, as provided by article 101, I of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
